Our Story

"We were frustrated. Our previous position showed us the ins and outs of "corporate independence" and we weren't thrilled. We were throwing 50-60 hours a week into an unpaid position, leading us nowhere. I came up with the idea, seeking to bring people who really cared about underground artists together. James and Acytone saw the vision, the opportunity and the chance to make something that made sense. Thus, Indie Bubble was born."

Our Purpose

In the simplest terms: We want a space for creatives, by creatives. You deserve to have your work recognized by people who actually care about the little guy, and that's who we are.

We, just like you, do this out of passion and the love for our craft. This isn't a corporate deal, but the spot real for creativity to shine. We'd love to have and work with you because you exist, and that should be recognized.

A Community

Each and every member of The Indie Bubble comes from a different background. Some have dreams of being famous podcasters, some are trying to build a reputation in the music industry... And some of us just plain like music. Together, we've made a commitment to working as one.

As a team.

We're not only dedicated to showcasing the best indie artists around, but also to each other.

This isn't a corporation. It's us.

What you can expect to hear:

A bi-weekly group podcast hosted by our Founder, DJ Candace and several other hosts from individual shows. Aside from these shows, you can also catch interviews with the artists and our own James Maertens on Indie Interludes!

It's not just about the music. We're here to discuss the artists behind the lyrics, and anything else new fans might

be curious about.

What you can expect to find:

New shows and features from all genres and places. Each time you tune in, you'll be hearing or seeing something new. It doesn't end with the sweet tunes,

though.

At The Indie Bubble, we like to showcase things from strange places too. Artwork, fashion, videos... We want to see it all! More importantly, we want to share it with

you.

What you can expect from us:

The end goal, is to have Indie Bubble act as a one-stop shop for creatives to work together in a professional environment. Connecting people like Producers, Graphic Designers, Singers... All plans for the future.

For now, contributing artists can expect transparency and good faith business. Exposure is the basis for all things in the Industry. It's our job to give that to you to the best of our abilities.
